Both models pair electric motors with high-capacity batteries—84 kWh in the Genesis GV60 and 82 kWh in the Audi Q4 e-tron—to deliver instant torque, smooth acceleration, and consistent efficiency.

That said, there's a distinct difference in how they perform.

The GV60 and the Q4 e-tron both support convenient at-home charging with a Level 2 charger, typically reaching a full charge in under eight hours. This allows both vehicles to recharge overnight and be ready for the next day's drive with minimal effort.

When it comes to public DC fast charging, however, the Genesis GV60 holds a clear advantage. It not only charges significantly faster, but also benefits from broader charging accessibility thanks to its NACS (North American Charging Standard) port. This enables access to more than 66,000 chargers nationwide, including Tesla Superchargers and IONNA locations.

By comparison, the Audi Q4 e-tron can access approximately 28,000 charging stations, including Tesla Superchargers (via adapter where supported) and 5,000 Electrify America stations. It does not currently feature native NACS compatibility.

Where Performance Meets Control

They each come standard with rear-wheel drive (RWD) for balanced handling, efficient power delivery, and an engaging drive in everyday conditions, while also making all-wheel drive (AWD) available to help maintain traction and confidence when weather and road conditions become less than ideal.

Once again, the Genesis GV60 takes the lead when it comes to power:

Both models offer selectable drive modes that allow drivers to tailor steering feel, throttle response, and overall vehicle responsiveness to match their driving style or changing road conditions. However, only the Genesis GV60 offers Boost Mode, temporarily unlocking heightened acceleration for a more immediate surge of power: enabling a 0-60 MPH time of just four seconds.

A More Distinctive Presence

For the latest model year, the Audi Q4 e-tron retains its familiar, cleanly sculpted silhouette, while the Genesis GV60 introduces a more modernized front-end design highlighted by its updated 3D-inspired grille and distinctive bumper treatment. Both EVs feature advanced LED exterior lighting, but the GV60's signature Two-Line LED MLA headlamps (featuring 200 micro lenses) deliver a highly precise, high-intensity light pattern that enhances both visibility and visual presence compared to the Q4 e-tron's setup.

The Genesis GV60 also brings several convenience-focused exterior features as standard equipment that are only available options on the Audi Q4 e-tron, including a panoramic Vision Roof with power sunshade and a hands-free Smart Liftgate with auto-open functionality.

In addition, the GV60 offers a more expressive exterior color palette with eight available paint options, including Mauna Red, Capri Blue, and Tromsø Green. By contrast, the Q4 e-tron offers a more restrained selection of four exterior colors, primarily centered on grayscale tones with a single blue option. As a result, the Genesis GV60 provides a broader range of personalization to better reflect individual style preferences.

Comfort in the Details

Step inside either cabin and you'll instantly recognize the signs of luxury. The Audi Q4 e-tron brings standard leather to its seating surfaces, while the Genesis GV60 offers sustainable leatherette or available Nappa leather. Both include power-adjustable, heated front seats, but only the GV60 adds ventilated front seats and an Ergo Motion driver's seat with massage functionality, enhancing comfort on longer drives.

Both models provide similar passenger space across both rows, along with practical cargo capacity for up to five occupants and their gear. While the fundamentals are closely matched, differences emerge in how each cabin is furnished and experienced day to day.

As before, the GV60 goes beyond the ordinary with distinctive two-tone interior combinations such as Ash Gray and Glacier White, Aqua Green and Galaxy Black, and Sky Blue and Prussian Blue, creating a more personalized atmosphere. It also features an exclusive laser-engraved, illuminated Crystal Sphere shift dial, which provides intuitive haptic feedback for functions such as vehicle charging status and reverse engagement.

Technology That Feels Effortless

Both models include standard wireless smartphone integration, wireless device charging, brand-specific Connected Services, and a voice-activated virtual assistant that responds to a wake phrase to help with navigation, climate controls, media, and more.

The Audi Q4 e-tron features a 10.3-inch instrument cluster paired with an 11.6-inch MMI® center touchscreen. The Genesis GV60, meanwhile, takes a more immersive approach with a seamless 27-inch OLED display that integrates the instrument cluster, multimedia touchscreen, and navigation into one expansive interface. Nearly six inches larger than the Q4 e-tron's combined digital display area, it also supports customizable split-screen layouts for maps, media, weather, and other frequently used functions.

Genesis further distinguishes itself with standard fingerprint authentication, allowing drivers to unlock personalized vehicle settings and start the GV60 without relying solely on a traditional key. The GV60 also offers available Active Noise Control, helping reduce unwanted road noise for a quieter, more refined driving experience—a feature not offered on the Audi Q4 e-tron.

Protection That Thinks Ahead

No technologies are more important than those designed to help protect drivers and their passengers. Genesis and Audi equip these luxury electric SUVs with comprehensive suites of driver-assistance systems intended to help support lane centering, maintain set speed and following distance, assist with parking, and monitor blind spots.

However, only the Genesis GV60 includes the following standard features that are not offered even as available options on the Audi Q4 e-tron:
